The church is called to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable ... we are called to be prophetic, NOT pathetic ...
Too often the Gospel is sacrificed on the alter of complacency and niceness ... and we settle for a milque-toast faith that says - "I'll believe this ... if it doesn't offend any one ..."
The sad reality Gord is - we are NOT what we think we are, and I doubt we ever really were ... the radical nature of our common faith has ebbed away ...
